CULTURAL WEEK AWARDS

AWARDS CEREMONY IES Cantillana.

The prizes for the quizzes organised by the Bilingual Programme have been given to the winners at a very special ceremony taking place in Casa de la Cultura.

These are the students who have been awarded in the different competitions:

II SPELLING BEE

Los premios a los concursos organizados por el Programa Bilingüe del IES Cantillana han sido entregados en una ceremonia muy especial en la Casa de la Cultura.

Arriba aparecen las imágenes de los ganadores de los distintos concursos (II SPELLING BEE, III LISTENING OLYMPICS QUIZ 3º ESO and I SCAVENGER HUNT 4º ESO) recibiendo sus premios de manos de la Coordinadora Bilingüe.

CULTURAL WEEK – I SCAVENGER HUNT

In the last day of the Cultural Week in our school, Bilingual Program has organised the I SCAVENGER HUNT for students of 4th year. This is a new activity that is celebrated in our Cultural Week for the first time.

Many groups have participted in the event and they have solved different tasks. Teachers, language assistants and students of different years have collaborated to organise this fun activity. The winners were Antonio Lozano, José Luis Olivera, Adrián Sánchez from group B of 4th year.

Thanks to all the participants and congratulations to the winners!!!

El último día de la Semana Cultural el Programa Bilingüe ha organizado el I SCAVENGER HUNT para los alumnos de 4º ESO. Es la primera vez que esta actividad se ha celebrado en la Semana Cultural de nuestro centro.

Muchos grupos han participado en esta edición y han realizado diferentes pruebas. Profesores, auxiliares de conversación y alumnos de otros cursos han colaborado en la organización de esta prueba. Los ganadoras han sido Antonio Lozano, José Luis Olivera, Adrián Sánchez de 4º ESO B.

¡¡¡Muchas a gracias a todos por participar y enhorabuena al grupo ganador!!!

CULTURAL WEEK – III LISTENING OLYMPICS QUIZ

In the second day of the Cultural Week in our school, Bilingual Program has organised the III LISTENING OLYMPIC QUIZ for students of 3rd year. This is a fun activity that is being consolidated in our Cultural Week.

Many groups have participted in the event and they had a good time. It has been a fairly even competition in which the winners were Fabiola Blanco Alfonso and Asunción Inmaculada Campos Núñez from group D of 3rd year.

En el segundo día de la Semana Cultural el Programa Bilingüe ha organizado el III LISTENING OLYMPICS QUIZ para los alumnos de 3º ESO. Esta divertida prueba se está consolidando en la Semana Cultural de nuestro centro.

Muchos grupos han participado en esta edición y se lo han pasado en grande. Ha sido una competición muy igualada en la que las ganadoras han sido Fabiola Blanco Alfonso y Asunción Inmaculada Campos Núñez de 3º ESO D.

CULTURAL WEEK – II SPELLING BEE

In the first day of the Cultural Week in our school, Bilingual Program has organised the II SPELLING BEE quiz for students of 1st and 2nd year.

It was a bit difficult to enrole students of first year. Finally, there was a small group of these students to participate. The winner was Marta Lozano 1º ESO D.

Between students of 2nd year there were 4 students with an excellent level of English who got a tie on points. The next day we plannd a new task to know the winner, Manuel Megías Barrios 2º ESO E.

En el primer día de la Semana Cultural de nuestro centro, el Programa Bilingüe ha organizado el concurso II SPELLING BEE para alumnos de 1º y 2º ESO.

Resultó un poco difícil animar a los alumnos de 1º ESO aunque, finalmente, hubo un pequeño grupo de alumnos para participar. La ganadora fue Marta Lozano de 1º ESO D.

Entre los alumnos de 2º ESO hubo un grupo de 4, con un excelente nivel de inglés, que consiguió un empate a puntos. El día siguiente se planteó una nueva tarea de desempate para conocer el ganador, Manuel Megías Barrios de 2º ESO E.

Gracias a todos los participantes en el concurso y ENHORABUENA a los ganadores.
